➤ Where are you located? Do I need to be local to work with you?

I am available to work with clients throughout Colorado for both Psychotherapy and Somatic Guiding services. Somatic Guiding services are also available to clients who live outside of Colorado.

➤ You use terms like “mindfulness,” “somatic,” and “transpersonal.” Can you explain what you mean?

Absolutely. First, know that I blend these approaches based on what resonates best with you and what comes up as we work together. They won’t necessarily show up in every session.

“Mindfulness” is the foundation of my work. It’s about cultivating gentle, non-judgmental awareness of the present moment — connecting to thoughts, emotions, sensations, and impulses as they come up. Together, we help you learn practices to center and ground yourself, especially when things feel overwhelming.

“Somatic” work focuses on what we experience inside our bodies (interoception), and what we can learn. Often, we carry stress, tension, and feeling that our bodies can sense long before our minds do. Somatic guiding invites us to pay attention to body cues like posture, breath, and sensations, and the exploration of what they might reveal.

“Transpersonal” refers to the dimension outside of self — the spiritual realm. In our work together, we’ll explore your relationship to that which goes beyond your sense of self to help understand the deeper meanings and purposes behind your experiences. Our sessions may integrate spiritual practices including meditation and prayer, and visualization techniques to facilitate self-realization and continued personal growth.

➤ What are your specialties?

I work with clients who are experiencing anxiety, relationship issues, and developmental trauma. Common issues that I help my clients address include:

  • Codependency
  • Complex PTSD
  • Coping Skills
  • Depression
  • Eating Disorders
  • Family Conflict
  • Grief
  • Men's Issues
  • Obsessive-Compulsive (OCD)
  • Peer Relationships
  • School Issues
  • Self Esteem
  • Self-Harming
  • Sleep or Insomnia
  • Spirituality
  • Stress
  • Substance Use
  • Women's Issues

➤ What can I expect during my first session?

In your first session, we’ll focus on getting to know each other. We’ll discuss what brought you to therapy and your experiences (if any) with therapy in the past. We’ll cover any goals you may have, talk about what you’re looking for in a therapeutic relationship, and answer any questions you have. Together, we’ll set a foundation for a supportive and collaborative relationship.

➤ Do you offer support for couples or families?

Currently, my practice is focused on work with individuals. We may explore family dynamics and relational issues as they pertain to your experiences.

➤ Is there homework between sessions?

If you like homework, I can provide invitations and suggestions to try something on before our next meeting. Nothing is ever “required.”

➤ How do you approach confidentiality?

Confidentiality is a cornerstone of our work together. Everything shared in sessions is private, with exceptions as required by law (such as safety concerns). I am always committed to providing a safe and supportive space for healing.
