Psychotherapy

My approach to psychotherapy centers on understanding how past experiences shape how you move through the world, without labeling or pathologizing. Rather than focusing on “what’s wrong,” we work to uncover “what happened” — the influential moments, relationships, experiences, and beliefs that have left an imprint on your mind, body, and spirit.

Alissa Kammerling of Reclamation Psychotherapy in Colorado, in the mountains

Guided by a somatic, relational approach, I invite you to be present with what arises in the moment, tuning into your body’s innate wisdom.

Our work may include:

  • Gestalt therapy to complete unfinished business and experience yourself in new ways

  • Parts work to acknowledge and integrate the many aspects of Self — from the Inner Child to the protective, adaptive parts of you.

  • Somatic work to safely process trauma and restore nervous system regulation.

  • Mindfulness and breathwork practices to anchor you in the present moment.

  • Relational therapy to examine and heal attachment wounds.

  • Narrative and cognitive approaches to help shift limiting beliefs.

My aim in every session is to create a safe, compassionate space where you can reclaim your worth, move toward self-acceptance, and learn to trust yourself.
